Twin Birth - 5th Month

5 months, and the 2 girls had a drastic change, from having some hair to botak. They are more active now, staying awake longer in the day but at least can sleep thru the night till 4~5am for their 1st feed of the day. If I am not working, staying at home with them, sometimes it can be very very tiring as they need your undivided attention. They no longer satisfy with laying on a surface, they will want to be carried around, flip here and there or in sitting position with your support.

Twin Birth - 4th Month

Back to work, tired, and "twin sick". Glad that company allowed me to take such a long leave from Dec till early April, is a long period.
During these 4 months "confinement" (yes, it is confinement as I could not go out as I wish), it has becoming a routine of morning call for the 1st day feed, sometimes will see my hubby and eldest girl leave the house for school and work before 7am. The rest of the day will be feeding the babies and feeding myself till night time almost 9pm, then I see them again. Soon, it's the nightmare of night feeding, sometimes need to wake up as many as 3 times for different timing feed, if I am lucky, it's just a 1 time feed at night. Everyday lives like a zombie.
And of course, many things have changed, example the function of my mixing bowl...My baking tray...

Qing Ming - 清明倍思亲

Qing Ming coming soon and time to prepare stuff for my parents and brother. I missed them especially my brother who really cares for me alot. Since he is only 7 years older than me, I feel so sad that he have to suffer such fate at this age. Spiritually I think he is still taking care of me although he is no longer around. I always tears when I am going thru his stuff or settle his estate matters. I always have this picture in my mind where my dad, mum and brother are standing together watching me, I can just walk to them when it's time to go over. Sometimes I feel lonely in this dimension although I need not have to worry about my sibling anymore.
And farewell - Toa Payoh flat. The flat that hardly appears in my dream. When I have dreams about my family, it is always at my old rented flat at Blk 60 Stirling Road.

Twin Birth - 3rd Month

It's 3rd month, have been enjoying babies accompany alot and sad that I will be soon back to work force, which means I will be left with only 1 or 2 hours of waking time per day to see each others.
Poor mei mei has been having flu for past few weeks, been thru suction, lab test and feeding on antibiotics. Lab test shown result of 2 virus attack, great that now she is ok. And poor mummy having burnt a big hole in her pocket.
The feeling of taking care of twins is like, well, everything has to be done TWICE. Like feeding, shower, dressing, etc, I will always think of Anthea as she is taking care for 1 baby now.
The amount of chicken essence I had for the past 2 months is more than the amount I had for the past 2 years.
